What are eyelash extensions?
Lash extensions are a bond formed between a natural eyelash and a fake lash or fan. There is many types of extensions (faux mink, cashmere, silk, etc.) and they purpose of them is to enhance your eyes or make your day to day easier without any makeup.
How do eyelash extensions feel?
When applied properly, eyelash extensions feel weightless, soft and natural.
Are lash extensions safe?
With proper cleanliness, consultation and application, lash extensions are extremely safe.
How long do lash extensions last?
Natural lashes shed fully after 100 days. Within this time, some lashes are in anagen phase or "growth" stage, catagen phase or "transition" stage, and telogen phase or "resting" stage which are about to fall out because a new lash is ready to come in. For the best looking lashes, that have proper after-care, you can expect to require fills every 3-4 weeks.
What is a lash lift and tint?
Lash lift is a customizable process which the lashes are restructures to create a
semi-permanent lift. The results mimic the use of eyelash curler. A tint may be added the to the service to accentuate the lift, as if darken light coloured lashes, similar to the use of mascara.
How long will it last?
Results can last anywhere from 3 to 8 weeks depending on the aftercare and the clients natural lash growth cycle.
"I have short eyelashes, can i still get this done?"
Natural lashes that are too short may not be suitable for lash lifting as the lashes may not be able to adhere to the shield. However, 98% of clients believe their lashes are shorter than they actually are, please ask for a consultation so we can determine if a lash lift is right for you. If the natural lashes are too short don't fret, there are many ways to help lashes grow!
"I have sensitivity to lash extensions, is this a good alternative?"
Yes! Lash lifts do not use the same ingredients as the produces used in lash extensions adhesives.
